Hello, Cool English Teachers,
Get ready to fill your classroom with energy and laughter! This week, we're thrilled to announce new additions to one of our most entertaining and effective speaking games: Incohearant.
If you're looking for a fresh way to practice pronunciation and learn common phrases, this is the activity you've been waiting for. Based on the popular party game, the principle is simple but brilliant: It's not what you SAY, it's what you HEAR!

How Does It Work?
The game is designed for maximum participation and fun. You can easily divide your class into teams and use the built-in scoreboard to keep things competitive.
A team chooses a number from the game board to reveal a puzzle.
They will see a phrase made of seemingly random, nonsensical words. For example: "hit suck rhyme".
The challenge? The students must repeat these words out loud, faster and faster. Encourage the whole class to chant along!
As they say the sounds together, their brains will make the leap from the gibberish to the real hidden phrase: "it's a crime".
It's that "Aha!" moment of discovery that makes the game so rewarding and memorable.

Packed with Teacher-Friendly Features
We've designed this game to be as easy and effective for you as it is fun for your students:
Audio Support: Are students unsure how to pronounce a word? They can simply click on it to hear the audio. They can even click the words in rapid succession to simulate how they should say the phrase.
Helpful Hints: If a phrase is particularly tricky, a Hint button is available to give the team a clue and point them in the right direction.
Clear Answers: Once a team guesses the phrase (or time runs out), you can click to reveal the correct answer for everyone to see.

Why Incohearant is a Powerful Learning Tool
Beyond the laughter, this game is a fantastic way to improve real-world language skills. It naturally teaches:
Connected Speech & Rhythm: Students learn how words can sound different when spoken together in a natural flow.
Pronunciation: It provides targeted practice on tricky vowel and consonant sounds in a fun, low-pressure environment.
Memorable Phrases: The humor and the puzzle-solving element help new phrases and idioms stick in your students' long-term memory.
