Can You Survive the Menu? 🍔 New Editions Out Now!

This week, we are incredibly excited to bring you three brand-new editions of one of our most popular games: Survive the Menu! 🍟

In this game, your students step into a real-life restaurant scenario. Their mission? Order one item from each part of the menu to complete a full meal. But there’s a catch—they only have 5 lives! Every vocabulary mistake costs a life. Can they survive the order, or will they leave hungry? 😅

🍴 Three New Ways to Play

We’ve revamped the experience with three different dining styles to help students practice varied levels of restaurant English:

1. Texas Roadhouse (Casual Dining): Perfect for learning "roadhouse" favorites and classic American steakhouse vocabulary. 🥩

2. Pei Wei Asian Kitchen (Fast Casual): A great way to explore Asian-inspired dishes, ingredients like "water chestnuts," and cooking styles like "wok-tossed." 🥢

3. McDonald’s (Fast Food): The ultimate global classic! Ideal for practicing quick ordering and familiar menu items. 🥤
   

🆕 What’s New? (We Need Your Feedback!)

We’ve updated the way students learn vocabulary within the game, and we want to know what you think!

• Texas Roadhouse & Pei Wei: These versions use text descriptions with emojis to define words. 📖✨

• McDonald’s: This version uses visual images only for definitions. It also features a "Listen to Description" button to help students with native-like pronunciation! 🎧

📝 More Than Just a Game

We’ve designed these activities to be full lesson solutions:

• The Receipt: When students win, they get a realistic receipt with a total (including tax!). This is a perfect jumping-off point for roleplay activities or math practice. 💰
